- Sommeren 1998 startet oppussing av en boble i fra 1955.
- Bilen var ferdig våren 2000, men den manglet en "kjørbar" motor.
- Det ble bygget en ny motor, og denne ble montert sammen med et lystgass anlegg.
- Helt tilfeldig ble interessen for Drag-racing skapt ,og bare for moro stilte bobla til start på årets første stevne.
- Det viste seg raskt, at ekvipasjen hadde potensiale, og resultater for debut-sesongen er som følger:

2. plass i Nordic Drag Finals
4. plass sammenlagt i NDR-CUP 2002
7. plass sammenlagt i NM, i klassen ET>10

- Den 47år gamle "lystgassbobla" ble raskt lagt merke til i en sport som er dominert av amerikanske biler.
- Raskeste tid er 13,25@160,2km/t
- For å satse fullt på sesongen 2003, ble gamlebilen til Erik Dahlberg kjøpt inn. Denne skal modifiseres, og utvikles videre til en "all out race-machine".





 

 


Sigmund Bakken
Sigmund is our expert in surface-treatment, and he has a good reputation when it comes to painting cars and motorbikes. He is also working on parts for the aircraft industry with different coatings like: Teflon, Zermentel, Zink, powder-coating etc. If you ever need a paint-job done properly, or you need a special surface for your parts, we recommend that you contact him. Sigmund is the man behind the paint of the 55-oval.

Sigmund is the proud owner of a 67-Camaro, and on Right-On ET-festival the car pulled of 13,6@164km/t. When it comes to motorbikes, it is only Kawasaki's that counts. He has a nice 78- ZR-1 (hopefully we will se this on the strip next year?), and he is currently working on a Z-1300 with turbo and Haltech injection.

 


Rune Bruserud
Rune is the man behind the CNC-machines, and he is our chief-sergeant when it comes to engine-parts. If you need some work on your flywheel, cylinderheads, case, pistons, etc. please contact INDUSTRITEKNIKK where he works.

Rune is a Harley Davidson fan, and he cruises his 59- sportster. He is also the "proud" owner of a Neper (Russian Trike), and we have heard some rumours about a huge Turbo, injection from BMW and Lada. We will possible see this creation at Gardermoen Raceway. Currently Rune is rebuilding a Suzuki drag-bike. Back in the 80's, this bike was doing well in the Super Street Bike class. If anyone have information about this bike (SSB290), please let us know. This bike has potential, and we are looking forward to see it on the strip again!

 


Roar Lunde
Roar is the driver of the Team and responsible for the power. He got the "bug-virus" in 1986 when he bought his first 1303S. Roar has always been interested in engine-work and for the 55- Oval, an 1835ccm engine was produced. He wanted to see how it worked against other cars and that where the reason for going to the strip in the first place. 14.4@146km/t were the best time set at Nordic Drag Finals 2002. With Nitrous Oxide, the car clicked of a nice 13,2@160km/t.

Nitrous Oxide has always fascinated Roar, and this is the reason for the name NITROUSBEETLE.
